Terms Used In Florida Statutes 288.28

  • Department: means the Department of Commerce. See Florida Statutes 288.005

The Department of Transportation is hereby authorized and empowered to lease or purchase from the Division of Bond Finance of the State Board of Administration such roads or bridges as may have been acquired or constructed under the provisions of s. 288.23 and to pay either the rental or the purchase price from the surplus gasoline taxes which may, in the future, accrue to the credit of the county or counties in which the road or bridge is located, under the provisions of Fla. Const. Art. XII, § 9.
