Terms Used In Florida Statutes 378.408
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Secretary: means the Secretary of Environmental Protection. See Florida Statutes 378.403
The secretary may institute civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction to seek injunctive relief to enforce compliance with the requirements of this part.
