Terms Used In Florida Statutes 420.514
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Corporation: means the Florida Housing Finance Corporation. See Florida Statutes 420.503
- State: means the State of Florida. See Florida Statutes 420.503
The corporation and its corporate existence shall continue until terminated by law, provided that no such law shall take effect so long as the corporation shall have bonds outstanding, unless adequate provision has been made for the payment thereof. Upon termination of the existence of the corporation, all its rights and properties in excess of its obligations shall pass to and be vested in the state.
