The cotton growers’ organization may be certified by the department for the purpose of entering into agreements with any person, municipality, county, or other department of this state or any agency, officer, or authority of another state or the United States Government as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of ss. 593.101593.117. If the department finds that the growers’ organization meets the requirements set forth in s. 593.111, the department shall issue certification to the organization for purposes of ss. 593.101593.117 only. Such certification does not affect any other organization of cotton growers established for other purposes. The department is authorized to revoke the certification if at any time the organization fails to meet the certification requirements or the purposes of ss. 593.101593.117.
