- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
In any action for injunctive relief sought by the state or one of its agencies as provided in ss. 501.207(1)(b), 542.23, and 895.05(5), any injunction sought shall issue without bond or surety and no bond or surety shall be required during the term of the injunction.
