Terms Used In Florida Statutes 617.1510
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Foreign corporation: means a corporation not for profit organized under laws other than the laws of this state. See Florida Statutes 617.01401
(1) Process against a foreign corporation may be served in accordance with s. 48.081 and chapter 48 or chapter 49.
(2) Any notice to or demand on a foreign corporation made pursuant to this act may be made in accordance with the procedures for notice to or demand on domestic corporations under s. 617.0504.
