Terms Used In Florida Statutes 631.903
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Corporation: means the Florida Workers' Compensation Insurance Guaranty Association, Incorporated. See Florida Statutes 631.904
The statutes controlling the corporation shall be construed liberally to achieve the purposes stated in s. 631.902. The corporation shall perform its functions under a plan of operation established by its board of directors and approved by the department.
