Terms Used In Florida Statutes 682.05
- Arbitrator: means an individual appointed to render an award, alone or with others, in a controversy that is subject to an agreement to arbitrate. See Florida Statutes 682.011
If there is more than one arbitrator, the powers of an arbitrator must be exercised by a majority of the arbitrators, but all of the arbitrators shall conduct the hearing under s. 682.06(3).
