Terms Used In Florida Statutes 744.624
- Court: means the circuit court. See Florida Statutes 744.102
- Estate: means income on hand and assets acquired in whole or in part with income. See Florida Statutes 744.604
- Person: means an individual, a partnership, a corporation, or an association. See Florida Statutes 744.604
- United States Department of Veterans Affairs: means the United States Department of Veterans Affairs or its predecessors or successors. See Florida Statutes 744.604
- Ward: means a beneficiary of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. See Florida Statutes 744.604
A guardian shall not apply any portion of the estate of her or his ward to the support and maintenance of any person other than her or his ward, except upon order of the court after a hearing, notice of which has been given to the proper office of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as provided in s. 744.625.
