Whoever trades, traffics for, or buys, except from the producer or the producer’s authorized agent, any cotton or leaf tobacco, unless the same be baled or boxed in the usual manner, or unless upon some exhibition of evidence in writing that the producer has parted with her or his interest therein, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
