§ 3456. Prohibition against cancellation of policy when motor vehicle is used or operated through a transportation network company program. (a) An insurer shall not cancel an existing motor vehicle insurance policy solely on the basis that the motor vehicle covered by the insurance has been made available pursuant to a transportation network company program in compliance with Article forty-four-B of the vehicle and traffic law.
(b) The definitions set forth in section three thousand four hundred fifty-five of this article shall apply to this section.
