§ 1699-r. Legislative report. The chairman shall annually before December first, report in writing to the legislature concerning the awarding of contracts, for specified commodities, equipment or services or for the construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation or improvement of college facilities at the Medgar Evers college to small businesses and minority businesses. The report shall include the total value of awards made in the preceding fiscal year under the designation of small business set-asides.

Terms Used In N.Y. Public Authorities Law 1699-R

  • Chairman: means the chairman of the dormitory authority. See N.Y. Public Authorities Law 1695
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Small business: means a business which is independently owned and operated, and which is not dominant in the field of operation. See N.Y. Public Authorities Law 1695
