N.Y. Public Authorities Law 1836-G – Rules and regulations of the authority
§ 1836-g. Rules and regulations of the authority. 1. The authority shall make, promulgate and enforce such reasonable rules and regulations relating to its duties under this subtitle as it may deem appropriate.
Terms Used In N.Y. Public Authorities Law 1836-G
- Authority: means the job development authority created by section one thousand eight hundred two of this chapter. See N.Y. Public Authorities Law 1836-B
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- State: shall mean the state of New York. See N.Y. Public Authorities Law 1801
2. To effectuate the purposes of this subtitle, the authority may request from any authority, division, board, bureau, commission or other agency of the state or from any public corporation, and the same are authorized to provide, such services, assistance and data as will enable the authority to properly carry out its functions, powers and duties under this subtitle.
3. The authority shall also cooperate with the department of economic development to permit the department to carry out its responsibilities under § 104-a of the economic development law.
