§ 3105-a. Roster of retired scientists, engineers and other experts.

Terms Used In N.Y. Public Authorities Law 3105-A

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

1. The corporation shall establish a roster of retired scientists, engineers and other experts who are willing to volunteer to assist small, emerging technology oriented businesses in reviewing, analyzing and assisting in technological and organizational problems.

2. The roster of retired scientists, engineers and other experts shall be composed of retired persons with scientific research and development expertise or such relevant managerial experience as may be useful to emerging business.

3. The corporation shall make the establishment of the roster known to such retired scientists, engineers and other experts who may be willing to volunteer their services, and solicit their assistance on behalf of emerging businesses that request assistance from such persons.

4. The corporation shall make the names and accompanying areas of expertise known to inventors and small and emerging technology oriented businessmen for the purpose of gaining from the advice and expertise of such retired volunteers.
