* § 126-a. Application; assembly. For the purpose of filling vacancies occurring other than by the expiration of term in the offices of members of the assembly elected at a general election in two thousand twenty-four, the assembly districts of this state, as described and set out in a chapter of the laws of two thousand twenty-three, amending the state law relating to establishing assembly districts, shall continue to be respectively, the assembly districts of the state.
