As used in this Chapter:

(a) Public laundry means any place, building, structure, room, establishment, premises or portions thereof, used in the business of mark- ing, sorting, washing, drying, starching or ironing or wearing apparel, household linens and other articles, including any establishment providing laundering equipment for use by customers for a fee known by various terms such as laundromat, wash-o-mat or launderette; and
(b) Dry cleaning establishment means any place, building, structure, room, premises or portions thereof, used in the business of dry cleaning and dyeing of wearing apparel, household linens and other articles, including coin-operated dry cleaning establishments.
