- Advice and consent: Under the Constitution, presidential nominations for executive and judicial posts take effect only when confirmed by the Senate, and international treaties become effective only when the Senate approves them by a two-thirds vote.
- Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
e Savings and Loan Commissioner shall be appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Legislature, and shall hold office at the pleasure of the Governor. He shall receive such compensation as shall be prescribed or authorized by law. Before entering upon the duties of his office, he shall take and subscribe an oath of office. The commissioner shall be charged with the administration and enforcement of this act and shall have and may exercise all of the powers necessary or convenient for such purposes. Except as otherwise expressly provided by this act, none of the records of the commissioner shall be deemed to be public documents nor be open to the inspection of the public, except any report made by any association to the commissioner
