Terms Used In 13 Guam Code Ann. § 8305

  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
act or event which creates a right to immediate performance of the principal obligation evidenced by the security or which sets a date on or after which the security is to be presented or surrendered for redemption or exchange does not of itself constitute any notice of adverse claims except in the case of a purchase

(a) After one year from any date set for such presentment or surrender for redemption or exchange; or

(b) After six months from any date set for payment of money against presentation or surrender of the security if funds are available for payment on that date.
