- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Probate: Proving a will
ders and decrees made by the Superior Court of Guam in probate proceedings need not recite the existence of facts, or the performance of acts, upon which the jurisdiction of the Superior Court of Guam may depend, but it is only necessary that they contain the matters ordered or adjudged, except as otherwise provided by this Title.
