Terms Used In 15 Guam Code Ann. § 3701

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • Probate: Proving a will
en it appears necessary or convenient, the Superior Court may appoint a guardian for a minor’s person and estate or person or estate. The appointment may be made upon the petition of a relative or other person on behalf of the minor, or on the petition of the minor, if fourteen (14) years of age.
