- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Probate: Proving a will
- Testify: Answer questions in court.
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
the trial, the guardian or relative of the person so declared insane or for whom a guardian has been appointed, and, in the discretion of the court, any other person, may contest the right to the relief demanded. Witnesses may be required to appear and testify, as in civil cases, and may be called and examined by the court on its own motion. If it is found that the person in question is sane and capable of managing and taking care of himself and his property, his restoration to capacity must be adjudged and the guardianship of such person, if not a minor, must cease.
