There is hereby created, separate and apart from other funds of the government of Guam, a fund to be known as the “”Hero Scholarship Program Fund”” (“”Fund””). The Fund shall not be commingled with the General Fund and shall be kept in a separate bank account, administered by the Judicial Council. The Fund shall be expended pursuant to this Chapter.

2019 NOTE: 2019 NOTE: Pursuant to P.L. 31-237:3 (Dec. 6,
2012), after Award Year 2012-2013, financial assistance awards would be granted only as provided by Chapter 28 of Title 17, Guam Code Ann.. Awards under The Dr. Antonio C. Yamashita Teacher Corps program would continue, as mandated by 17 Guam Code Ann. § 28404.

Pursuant to the authority granted by 1 Guam Code Ann. § 1606, the Compiler moved this article from Chapter 15 to Chapter 28 as a new Article
7, and renumbered the provisions accordingly.ARTICLE 14

Awards under the Every Child is Entitled to a Higher Education Scholarship Program would continue, as mandated by 17 Guam Code Ann. § 28404.

Pursuant to the authority granted by 1 Guam Code Ann. § 1606, the Compiler moved this article from Chapter 15 to Chapter 28 as a new Article
8, and renumbered the provisions accordingly.
