udents entitled to the receipt of the John F. Quan Memorial Scholarship for Ocean Resource Science and Research pursuant to this Article shall receive the following benefits:

(a) payment of tuition, fees and related field research costs shall be as follows:

(1) Undergraduate Scholarship Award: Associate Degree, for a period not to exceed two (2) scholastic years. Technical training certificate, for a period not to exceed two (2) scholastic years. Bachelor’s Degree, for a period not to exceed four (4) scholastic years.

(2) Graduate Scholarship Award: Master’s Degree, for a period not to exceed two (2) scholastic years. Doctoral Degree, for a period not to exceed four (4) scholastic years. Juris Doctor Degree, for a period not to exceed four (4) scholastic years.

(b) An annual grant of not more than Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) per year to be disbursed in accordance with regulations adopted by the Board. In no case shall the total amount awarded under this Paragraph, to a single individual, exceed the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00).

(c) Cap Upon Benefits. The total annual benefits for Item (a)(1) of this Section shall not exceed Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($12,500.00). The total annual benefits for Item (a)(2) of this Section shall not exceed Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00).
