Terms Used In 21 Guam Code Ann. § 23102
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Judgement: The official decision of a court finally determining the respective rights and claims of the parties to a suit.
- Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
If a guardian, tenant for life or years, joint tenant, or tenant in common of real property, commit waste thereon, any person aggrieved by the waste may bring an action against him therefor, in which action there may be judgement for treble damages.
