Public Law No. 12-226 repealed authority for agricultural leases effective
January 1, 1975. During the time between the effective date of this Law and January 1,
1975, numerous agricultural leases have been entered by the government of Guam. Such leases may be in violation of the provisions of Chapter 75 of this Title relating to the Chamorro Land Trust Commission. All agricultural leases entered between the government of Guam and any person after January 1, 1975 and prior to the effective date of this Act are ratified and shall remain in effect according to the terms of said leases notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary.
