Terms Used In 21 Guam Code Ann. § 76101
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
Whereas the Legislature has determined that the historic, archaeological, architectural, and cultural heritage of Guam is among her most important environmental assets and furthermore that the rapid social and economic development of contemporary society threatens to destroy the remaining vestiges of this Spanish- Chamorro heritage, it is declared to be the public policy and in the public interest of Guam to engage in a comprehensive program of historic preservation, undertaken at all levels of the government of Guam, and to promote the use and conservation of such property for education, inspiration, pleasure, and enrichment of the residents of Guam.
