- Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
Any person violating the provision of this article or any rules and regulations duly established thereunder shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor and in addition, shall forfeit to Guam any artifacts or objects collected.

2008 COMPILER NOTE ON ARTICLE 4: Public Law 27-089:3 (May 6, 2004) directed that Articles 1-5 of this chapter be restored
pursuant to P.L. 25-072:IV:13 (Sept. 30, 1999). However, Article 4 was not part of the reenactments of P.L. 25-072:IV:13. The specific repeal of Article 4 was done by P.L. 20-151:24 (Mar. 21, 1990), which repeal was never undone by subsequent legislation.
