- Summons: Another word for subpoena used by the criminal justice system.
Within one (1) month after any employer directly or indirectly commences business or begins to occupy or control a factory, workshop, warehouse, garage, store, office, or any other place of employment, he shall notify the Department in writing of such commencement, occupancy or control on such forms and including such information as the Director may prescribe. As a minimum, such notice shall require; if the employer is a corpora- tion, the legal title, names and titles of corporate officers, and the name and address of the individual upon whom service of summons is to be made; and if a firm, the legal title, and the names of each member.
