Terms Used In 4 Guam Code Ann. § 11101

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The Governor of Guam shall establish within the government of Guam a safety program for employees, and in furtherance thereof, he shall cause to be made such studies and investigations as may be necessary to determine the safety conditions within the government of Guam. In carrying out the provisions of this Chapter, the Governor of Guam may enter upon any premises administered by any department, agency or public corporation of the government of Guam. A report from time to time shall be made as to safety conditions in the government of Guam, together with recommendations for preventing injuries, which report shall be circulated among the various governmental agencies for implementation.
