Under the Guam Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

Whenever the personnel board finds that a violation of § 4503 of this Article involving the disclosure of information concerning waste of public funds or mismanagement of an agency has occurred, it shall transmit a copy of the investigation report to the public auditor, who shall proceed in accordance with § 1908 and
§ 1909 of Title 1, Guam Code Ann.. Any person found guilty of violating § 4503 of this Article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
