Terms Used In 5 Guam Code Ann. § 221605

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
The Office of Public Accountability shall perform an annual audit of the SAR Fund and the compliance of the Director of the Department of Administration with the expenditure of such funds within the SAR Fund in accordance with the administration and exclusive purposes of this Article. Said audit shall include, but is not limited to, the revenues to the SAR Fund and the expenditures from the SAR Fund. The OPA shall prepare and provide a written report of compliance no later than seventy-five (75) days after the
end of the fiscal year to I Maga’lahen Guåhan and to the Speaker of I Liheslaturan Guåhan.
