non-custodial parent whose vehicle operator’s license is suspended for non-compliance with a court order of support may request the Department to issue a written statement that permits the Director of the Department of Revenue and Taxation to issue a temporary license valid for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) days. The Department may grant such requests only upon a showing of medical need or work requirement to obtain a temporary license and only if the non-custodial parent demonstrates that persons intention to come into compliance with the court order of support.
