- Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
The marshal must file the notice, undertaking, and affidavit, with his proceedings thereon, with the clerk of the court within five (5) days after taking the property mentioned therein.
