- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Judgment must be entered in the judgment book as in other cases, but without costs for any proceeding prior to trial. The case, the submission, and a copy of the judgment constitute the judgment roll.
