Hawaii Revised Statutes 124B-236 – Delegation of authority by the governor; rulemaking authority of the governor

(a) The governor may delegate any authority vested in the governor under this chapter to the adjutant general and may provide for the sub-delegation of any authority as appropriate.

Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 124B-236

Adjutant general: means the adjutant general of the State as defined in section 121-7. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 124B-1
Governor: means the governor of the State. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 124B-1

(b) The governor or adjutant general shall adopt rules in accordance with chapter 91 necessary to administer and implement this chapter. Chapter 91 shall apply notwithstanding § 121-5 or any other provision of law to the contrary.
