No later than twenty days prior to the convening of each regular session, the board shall submit a report to the legislature that includes:

(1) A description of the activities of the board;

Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 139-9

  • Board: means the law enforcement standards board. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 139-1
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
(2) An accounting of the expenditures from the law enforcement standards board special fund in the previous fiscal year and the remaining balance of the fund; and
(3) Recommended legislation, if any.
