Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 150A-13
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Inspector: means any employee or official of the department authorized by the board to administer and enforce the provisions of this law. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 150A-2
- Summons: Another word for subpoena used by the criminal justice system.
When a complaint is made to any prosecuting officer of the violation of the provisions of this chapter or the rules promulgated and adopted pursuant thereto, the inspector who issued the citation and summons shall subscribe to the complaint under oath.
