A person shall be guilty of a class B felony if the person:

(1) Intentionally or knowingly makes, alters, or reuses a stamp as defined in § 245-1; or

Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 245-36

  • Stamp: means a stamp printed, manufactured, or made by authority of the department, as provided in this chapter, that is issued, sold, or circulated by the department, and by the use of which the tax levied under this chapter is paid. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 245-1
(2) Knowingly possesses or distributes a stamp that has been falsely made, altered, or reused.
