Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 340B-6
- Director: means the director of health. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 340B-1
- Wastewater treatment plant: means the various facilities used in the treatment of wastewater, including a wastewater reclamation plant, but excluding a private sewage treatment plant with actual flows greater than 2. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 340B-1
All classified wastewater treatment plants whether publicly or privately owned, used or intended for use by the public or private persons, shall at all times be under the direct supervision of an individual whose competency is certified to by the director in a classification corresponding to the classification of the wastewater treatment plant to be supervised.
