- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Fund: means the additional unemployment compensation fund established by this chapter. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 385-2
Additional unemployment benefits shall be deemed to be due and payable under this chapter only to the extent provided in this chapter, subject to amendment or repeal thereof, and to the extent that moneys are available therefor to the credit of the additional unemployment compensation fund.
