- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
Each insurance contract requiring approval by the commissioner pursuant to this code, § 392-48, or § 386-124 and each contract certified by the insurer to be in conformity with this code shall be accompanied by a $20 fee payable to the commissioner, which shall be deposited into the commissioner’s education and training fund.
