The lives of the members of a credit union may be insured under a policy issued to the credit union that shall be deemed the policyholder to insure members of the credit union for the benefit of persons other than the credit union or any of its officials, subject to the following requirements:

- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
As used in this section, “credit union” means a credit union chartered under the provisions of the Federal Credit Union Act or article 10 of chapter 412.
