(a) The board shall require each applicant to furnish satisfactory evidence that the applicant has passed written examinations covering basic sciences, clinical sciences, and clinical competency as administered by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners or its successor organization.

(b) The examinations shall be held in Honolulu twice a year at a time and day which is convenient for the board.
(c) The examinations shall be secured from and corrected by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners or its successor organization.
