Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 481Z-17
- Director: means the director of commerce and consumer affairs. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 481Z-2
- State: means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 481Z-2
The director may assess a civil penalty against an athlete agent not to exceed $50,000 for a violation of this chapter. Fines shall be deposited with the director to the credit of the compliance resolution fund pursuant to section 26-9(o). Unless otherwise expressly provided, the remedies or penalties provided by this chapter are cumulative to each other and to the remedies or penalties available under all other laws of this State.
