Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 514B-55

  • Commission: means the real estate commission of the State. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 514B-3
  • Developer: means a person who undertakes to develop a real estate condominium project, including a person who succeeds to the interest of the developer by acquiring a controlling interest in the developer or in the project. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 514B-3

If an effective date for a developer‘s public report is not issued within a reasonable time after compliance with registration requirements, or if the developer is materially grieved by the form or content of the developer’s public report, the developer, in writing, may request and shall be given a hearing by the commission within a reasonable time after receipt of the request.
