Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 571-32.1
- Court: means one of the family courts as herein established. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 571-2
- Shelter: means the temporary care of children in physically unrestricting facilities pending court disposition. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 571-2
To provide for children under section shelter; release; notice” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2019″ statecd=”HI”>571-32, the family court may provide, on a contractual or on fee-for-service basis, accommodations in child caring institutions or foster boarding homes which meet the intent of section 346-17.
