Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 576B-706
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Convention support order: means a support order of a tribunal of a foreign country described in paragraph (4) of the definition of "foreign country" in § 576B-102. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 576B-701
