- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Personal property: All property that is not real property.
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
The clothing and personal property found on any human body appearing to have come to death under any of the circumstances set forth in § 841-3 may be recovered and held as evidence by any police officer, pending the investigation of the facts and the final disposition of any trial which may arise out of the death.
