All moneys received by the board of trustees as donations, contributions, gifts, or bequests to be used for the purposes set forth in this part shall be deposited into a special trust fund to be known as the “Police Officers, Firefighters, and Bandsmen Pension System Trust Fund” to be used for the purposes for which the moneys were received.
