The following provisions of part II shall apply to this part:

(1) Subpart A, except the definitions provided in § 88-21, unless expressly adopted in § 88-261;

  • Annuity: A periodic (usually annual) payment of a fixed sum of money for either the life of the recipient or for a fixed number of years. A series of payments under a contract from an insurance company, a trust company, or an individual. Annuity payments are made at regular intervals over a period of more than one full year.
(2) Subpart B, except sections 88-45, 88-45.5, 88-46, 88-48, 88-52, 88-59, 88-59.5, 88-61, and 88-62;
(3) Subpart C, except sections 88-71, 88-72, 88-73, 88-74, 88-74.6, 88-75, 88-76, 88-80, 88-83, 88-84, 88-85, 88-87, 88-88, 88-96, 88-97, and 88-98;
(4) Subpart D, except sections 88-112 and annuity savings fund” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2019″ statecd=”HI”>88-113; and
(5) Subpart E.
